ALMIRA VIDEO CONVERTER
About Almira Video Converter
A free, local video conversion tool with practical guides and clear browser limits.
Our purpose
Almira Video Converter helps people create convenient MP4 viewing copies of videos they are entitled to process. It is part of the Almira project. The core conversion workflow runs on the visitor’s device using open source ffmpeg.wasm, without a remote encoding API or a required account.
What the tool offers
The app includes MP4 output, quality presets, trimming, resolution controls, a sequential queue, and DVD / VOB file organization. Experimental joining is available for reviewed compatible segments. Results depend on the source streams, browser, hardware, and available memory. A 1 GiB input limit applies and is not a guarantee that every job will complete.
What we do not promise
This is not an unlimited DVD ripper. It does not access physical DVD drives, bypass encryption, preserve interactive menus, or interpret complete disc navigation. Preserve source backups and verify downloaded results.
Our guides and open source software
Guides explain the product workflow, settings, and practical limitations. Technical references link to underlying documentation. We do not claim invented benchmarks, testimonials, or Google approval. FFmpeg, ffmpeg.wasm, and other dependencies retain their respective copyrights and licenses. Their inclusion does not imply endorsement. See the project README for software license details.
